The Missouri State Department of Theatre and Dance has a competitive admissions policy for the BFA in Performance, the BFA in Musical Theatre and the BFA in Dance. Each of these areas requires an audition for acceptance into the major at the time of applying for admission to the university. In addition to applying to Missouri State University, you are required to make formal application to the department for an audition in the area of your interest. Links to information and to the specific application requirements are provided below. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Please note that no auditions are required for the BA, the BS in Education, BFA in Design Technology and the Masters degrees.
